The University of Information Technology & Communications (UoITC) participated in the innovation support workshop at the Ministry of Youth and Sports/Scientific Welfare Department, represented by the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Division and its technological units in the colleges.
This participation came at the request of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to display the winning projects in the exhibition that was held earlier.The projects of the students Abbas Thaer Juma and Yaqeen Kadhum Thajeel won in that exhibition, who are from the College of Biomedical Informatics, along with the student Muqtada Adel Ghazi from the College of Engineering with the presence of their supervisors.
The workshop witnessed the presentation of the student projects, the extent of the possibility of developing these innovations, the shortcomings of the student projects, and what aspects needed for development.On the other hand, two teachers from the College of Biomedical Informatics, including Assist. Prof. Zeinab Salem Jaafar and Assist. Lecturer Ahmed Uday Ezzat, were selected as committee members for the purpose of evaluating the projects of the students participating in the workshop.
