Prof.Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, the President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, participated in the fourth scientific conference on Digital Financial Services: A New Start to Enhance Financial Inclusion and Develop Digital Infrastructure in Iraq. Dr. Al-Bakri took part in the opening session of the conference, which discussed the main challenges and opportunities available in this field. He emphasized the necessity of supporting digital transformation efforts in line with the Iraqi government’s vision to enhance the digital economy in the country. The conference, organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Finance, aims to achieve a set of objectives, most notably enhancing financial inclusion, with a focus on developing digital infrastructure and showcasing the latest electronic payment technologies and digital banking services.
