The College of Biomedical Informatics Technology held a seminar titled “The Phenomenon of Harassment: Between Fear and Combat.”

The seminar, presented by Dr. Hanaa Salim Ghanem, head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college, focused on defining harassment, its types, and causes. She proposed addressing it through raising awareness to combat this phenomenon that has infiltrated Iraqi society.

The seminar contributes to enhancing students’ awareness of the importance of combating and eradicating harassment. It is part of the university’s guidance sessions and aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Additionally, it is considered part of the college’s efforts to enhance educational quality and provide opportunities for students to their skills and achieve success.
