The Department of Bioinformatics at the College of Biomedical Informatics organized a scientific lecture titled “How to Invest in Artificial Intelligence for the Environment and Project Writing,” presented by lecturer Jwan Kanaan Alwan.
The lecture addressed the importance of employing artificial intelligence technologies to support environmental issues and prepare research projects using more innovative and sustainable methods through environmental data analysis, predicting natural disasters, and managing resources intelligently.
The lecture also included a presentation on artificial intelligence models capable of predicting the occurrence of fires before they happen using advanced algorithms, thereby enhancing the role of these technologies in prevention and reducing environmental losses.
The lecture emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of responsible use of artificial intelligence in academic and research institutions, calling for the necessity of training students and researchers to utilize these modern tools in preparing scientific projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development.
