The College of Business Informatics, in cooperation with the Psychological Research Center at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, organized a scientific symposium on autism, its causes, and symptoms. The seminar, delivered by Dr. Hadeel Ali Jabr and Ms. Samar Hazem, covered several topics, such as defining autism disorder and its most important features, its causes and its impact on growth and development, early diagnosis, and the most prominent behavioral symptoms. The symposium also explained the academic and social challenges of a university student with autism and ways to support him, while stating the most prominent and latest scientific methods in dealing with those with autism. The seminar was attended by the College’s dean, Dr. Nagham Mahdi Finjan, and several professors and university employees.
