As part of efforts to raise environmental awareness and supportsustainability, the College of Engineering at the University of Information
Technology and Communications participated in an afforestation campaign withthe involvement of faculty members and students.

The campaign, which aims to increase green cover, reducedesertification, and improve the university environment, was supervised by both
the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division and the AgriculturalDivision.

The campaign also contributes to air purification and pollutionreduction, reflecting the college’s commitment to its social responsibility
toward a sustainable environment.
Such campaigns help achieve several Sustainable Development Goals,
including Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and emphasize the importance ofcreating a suitable environmental reality for university students and faculty.
