The University’s Computer Center held a workshop on launching the daily attendance system, which aims to enhance the mechanism for monitoring employee attendance and monitoring absences and leaves more accurately and effectively. During the workshop, the team responsible for designing the system reviewed the mechanisms of the new system and how to apply it across all departments. The most important advantages it provides were discussed, such as unifying the database and facilitating the process of extracting periodic reports related to employee attendance and punctuality. The focus was also on ways to develop the system in the future in line with the needs and requirements of the work environment at the university. The workshop was attended by several directorate heads, department heads, and human resources representatives, and it was recommended to hold additional training sessions for all employees involved in using this system and taking full advantage of its capabilities.
