A Higher Diploma project on deep learning for vehicle type recognition was discussed at the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies, University of Information Technology and Communications.

The project by student Hamza Safaa Hashem, titled:
“Advanced Deep Learning for Real-Time Vehicle Type Recognition: A Hybrid CNN and Attention Mechanism Approach”, was presented and discussed.

The research proposes a deep learning framework known as Real-Time Vehicle Recognition (RTVR), which consists of five main stages.

After the discussion of the research project, the student was awarded a Higher Diploma degree with an excellent rating.
