Discussion of a Postgraduate Diploma Project on Automated Document Processing
A postgraduate diploma project on automated document processing using optical character recognition and natural language processing was discussed at the Institute of Informatics for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Information and Communication Technology.
Postgraduate diploma student Aya Kisan Bahjat’s project was titled:
“An Automated Document Processing System for Government Agencies Using Optical Character Recognition and Natural Language Processing”
The project explored the creation of an automated document system for document classification by detecting and classifying their texts using text classification technology. This system outperforms traditional document classification systems and some automated systems.
After the discussion was concluded by the chair and members of the discussion committee, the student received a postgraduate diploma with distinction.
