The American Council of Science and Education has selected the President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, as one of the leadership team members of the American Council of Science (ACS) 2025 Conference Group, which will be held in Las Vegas from July 21 to 24, 2025.

This selection comes as part of the leadership of the largest conference complex in the United States, in recognition of his outstanding scientific contributions and global impact in his field of specialization. Dr. Al-Bakri was chosen as the only representative from the Arab world among the leadership members of these conferences, alongside prominent global figures in the field of information and communication technology.

The leadership list includes 24 distinguished individuals from around the world, among them:

* 14 from the United States
* 3 from Taiwan
* 2 from South Korea
* 1 from Argentina
