At the University of Information Technology and Communications, a ceremony was held to officially hand over the position of Assistant President for Scientific Affairs. The university president, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, transferred the duties to Assist. Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Mashali Hassan, in accordance with the ministerial order issued by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi.

The ministerial order included the exemption of Professor Dr. Luay Adour George from his duties as Assistant President for Scientific Affairs and his return to his teaching position at the University of Baghdad, while appreciating the scientific and administrative efforts he made during his tenure.

On this occasion, University President Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri praised the significant and sincere efforts made by Dr. Luay Edour George in serving the university and enhancing its academic standing during his time in office, wishing him continued success in his academic career.
