The Dean of the College of Biomedical Informatics, Professor Dr. Intisar Shadeed Al-Majbali, discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation with the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology at the Ministry of Planning during an official visit to the center’s headquarters.
The Director of the Consulting and Performance Development Department at the center, Youssef Issam Abdul Majid, welcomed the Dean, and during the meeting, they explored prospects for collaboration in developing job descriptions for the college’s graduates in alignment with labor market requirements and the rapid developments in health technology and information management.
The meeting also included a presentation of the college’s vision and its academic departments, a review of the approved curricula, and discussions on mechanisms for defining the scientific and job descriptions for graduates of various departments, which would enable them to compete in the labor market and meet the needs of health and technology institutions for specialized competencies.
Both parties emphasized the importance of expanding scientific and practical cooperation between academic institutions and government entities, which would enhance the quality of higher education outcomes and support digital transformation and administrative development in Iraq.
