The Institute of Informatics for Post Graduate Studies (IIPS) held its third scientific forum under the title of “Applied Research Towards the Digital Transformation of Ministries,” with the participation of a group of researchers and specialists in the field of technology and government administration.

The forum addressed several main themes, including:

1. The security theme which discussed digital transformation applications in ministries and security and defense institutions.

2. The health theme which focused on digital projects directed at the Ministry of Health and its affiliated departments.

3. The administrative theme which addressed ways to improve the management of Iraqi state institutions through digital tools.

4. The industrial and agricultural theme reviewed sustainable irrigation projects and digital management of the industrial and agricultural sectors.

The forum also included a lecture given by Mr. Nour Al-Khazraji from the United States, in which he highlighted the challenges and opportunities in the digital transformation of digital currencies in Iraq using the AI to support the economic independence of government sectors

The forum also witnessed the presentations of IIPS students and graduates from various disciplines, along with the opening of the Applied Research Exhibition, which included the research papers and experiments of many of the participants.
This event comes as part of the institute’s efforts to promote applied scientific research along with supporting digital transformation plans in Iraq, in line with the vision for sustainable development.
