The University Education Center at Al-Karkh Central Prison witnessed a distinguished achievement, as a number of inmates were able to design three electronic applications to provide innovative solutions to complaints and lawsuits at police stations, in addition to medical services. This initiative comes under the supervision and continuous follow-up of the Business Informatics College at the university, which was keen to support the inmates and enhance their technical capabilities during their sentences. The inmates’ innovations have received great interaction and widespread praise on social media platforms, as many have considered them an inspiring model for investing time in learning and production, which contributes to enhancing hope among inmates and preparing them to reintegrate into society positively. The University of Information Technology and Communications continues to follow up on this promising project, emphasizing the importance of education and creativity as essential tools for reform and rebuilding the lives of inmates.
