The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of an electronic application form to the private public university education channel (parallel) in public universities for the academic year 2025/2026.

The application controls specified that the applicant’s average score should not be less than three points below the minimum for admission to the colleges of the medical group, four points below the minimum for admission to the colleges of the engineering group, five points below the minimum for admission to the colleges of science, and six points below the minimum for admission to the remaining specializations.

While students who graduated from the previous academic year 2023/2024 and the academic year 2024/2025 can apply to this channel, the Ministry confirms that the student’s previous admission (central, direct, evening, private) will be cancelled if he begins studying within the parallel education channel and he is not entitled to return to his previous admission.

Electronic submission continues through the Department of Studies portal (https://dirasat.mohesr.gov.iq) until Monday, 3/11/2025.
