The Institute of Informatics for Postgraduate Studies (IIPS) at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) held a master’s thesis defense for researcher Wurood Najmul Deen Abdullah in the field of Computer Science, entitled:
“Recognition Of Children’s Handwritten Arabic Writing Through Deep Learning”
The thesis focused on the topic of recognizing Arabic handwriting by children through the application of deep learning techniques. The proposed model was developed using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), along with ensemble learning techniques, a Variational Autoencoder (VAE), and the Swan Optimization Algorithm.
Following an in-depth academic discussion, the scientific committee awarded the researcher Wurood Najmul Deen Abdullah a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a grade of Very Good.
