The Institute of Informatics for Graduate Studies discussed a master’s thesis on using artificial intelligence methods to improve network and communication services. The thesis presented by student Ali Qasim Muhammad, specializing in Computer Science, is titled:
“Soft Computing Based Packet Scheduling in Core Routers to Improve the Quality of Experience.”

The thesis focuses on utilizing artificial intelligence methods to enhance user experience and overall service quality in networks and communications. It also aims to improve three main aspects related to scheduling algorithms for network routers, dealing with real packets within routers that represent the backbone connecting Japan to the world. At the end of the discussion, the student was awarded a master’s degree with distinction.
