As part of its humanitarian and social programs, the College of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a recreational trip to Al-Zawraa Parks and Gardens, with the participation of several faculty members and students from various academic levels.

The event also saw the launch of a humanitarian initiative to care for orphaned children. The college took a group of them on the trip to bring joy to their lives, and students and faculty presented them with gifts and clothing as part of an initiative that embodied the spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility embraced by the college.

The trip also featured a number of purposeful activities, most notably an orientation day for first-year students, designed to foster camaraderie and communication among students, their peers, and professors in a positive and interactive atmosphere.
