The Department of Bioinformatics at the College of Biomedical Medical Informatics, University of Information Technology and Communications, held a lecture titled “Applying for Promotion through the Central Promotions System,” delivered by the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mais Abdul Hadi.

The lecture aimed to familiarize faculty members with the Central Promotions System and highlight its importance in ensuring fairness, transparency, and high accuracy in tracking the academic promotion process, in accordance with unified standards adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The lecture also addressed the application mechanisms, starting from creating a personal account, entering data, receiving notifications, and tracking the application, to the use of the electronic code, which plays a key role in facilitating procedures, saving time, and reducing errors during the academic promotion application process.
