A number of faculty members and students from the College of Biomedical Informatics attended the Youth Empowerment Forum: Electronic Payment and Cyber Security, which was held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports/Scientific Welfare Department in cooperation with Bayt Al-Hikma Company for Training and Financial Consulting.
The forum aimed to discuss the latest challenges and solutions in the field of cybersecurity, review electronic payment systems and their impact on society, in addition to providing interactive training workshops aimed at raising awareness among youth about cyber risks and best security practices.
The forum included two training workshops, the first entitled “Cybersecurity Basics” presented by Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussein Al Hamami, and the second entitled “Electronic Payment and Its Impact on Society” presented by Dr. Mustafa Hantoush, in addition to a group of speakers in this field.
