Based on the letter from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up, and the directives of the University President, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, the university held a workshop on the Student Information System (SIS) and Human Resources Management System.

The workshop was chaired by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Hassan Mshali, who emphasized the importance of complying with the ministry’s directives concerning digital transformation projects, including the SIS. He stressed the need for faculties and assigned committees to input data related to academic staff and students, reflecting the university’s commitment to implementing the system.

Dr. Mshali discussed with the associate deans of faculties, and heads of different departments, registration offices, human resources and student affairs this significant topic, which is considered a priority by the ministry. He focused on overcoming the technical and administrative challenges facing the system’s implementation.

Following that, a dedicated workshop was held on the digital transformation and automation project, aiming to accelerate the data entry process and send the required system statistics to the ministry as quickly as possible. The workshop was presented by Dr. Samer Mohammed Ali, Director of the Computer Center, and lecturer Mr. Safaa Jawad.
