Assist. Prof. Nashwan Diya Zaki, an instructor at the College of Engineering, participated as a trainer in a course on teaching methods aimed at blended learning, organized by Al-Mustansiriya University.
This participation was made possible through a nomination from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as part of the ministry’s efforts to develop academic competencies and enhance the concepts of blended learning, which combines face-to-face and electronic teaching methods.
The course is held within the applied specialization, where Professor Nashwan is responsible for delivering two training packages: the first titled “Digital Content,” which focuses on the mechanisms for preparing and utilizing electronic content in education, and the second titled “Professional Ethics,” which emphasizes the promotion of professional conduct and ethical responsibility among faculty members.
The course takes place at Al-Mustansiriya University from April 19 to July 10, 2025, during which theoretical and practical lectures are provided to enhance the participants’ skills and enable them to adopt modern teaching methods that align with contemporary educational requirements.
The course also includes theoretical lectures and practical applications aimed at increasing the participants’ competencies and enabling them to embrace modern teaching methods that meet the demands of contemporary education.
