The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, has agreed to permit the re-registration of centrally accepted students who have not registered or who have not completed their registration procedures for the academic year 2025/2024.

The decision for re-registration stipulates that students must not be enrolled in government morning education, evening study, private university education, or in the Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) and Imam Al-A’adham (may God have mercy on him) colleges, in addition to including students accepted through the foreign student channel.

The Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up has specified that the deadline for re-registering students will be one week after the announcement of the central acceptance results for the upcoming academic year 2026/2025, indicating that the academic year 2025/2024 will be considered a failure year for the students covered by this decision.
