The College of Biomedical Informatics conducted a practical scientific visit as part of its collaboration with academic institutions, to the Higher Institute for Judicial Sciences at Al-Nahrain University.

The aim of the visit was to familiarize the college students with the most important devices and modern technologies used in the field of forensic medicine and its applications in society. Through these visits, the college seeks to connect theoretical aspects with practical ones and enhance students’ skills in medical technologies and informatics, in addition to achieving goals (4) and (17) of the Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and partnerships for achieving objectives.

The visit included a field tour of the institute’s laboratories and classrooms, including the Gene Bank Unit, DNA Fingerprinting Laboratory, and the Biotechnology and Molecular Laboratory.
