The Student Activities Department at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) participated in the Beach Volleyball Championship that was held in Anbar Governorate from April 20-24, 2025.
This championship was hosted by Al-Maaref Private University and Fallujah University, with the participation of 48 public and private universities.

The championship was held in the Habbaniyah Tourist City under the supervision of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority/Student Activities Department, in cooperation with the referees of the Iraqi Beach Volleyball Federation and the Ministerial Media Committee. The University of Tikrit won first place in this championship.

The university delegation was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Imad Kadhim Al-Kaabi, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Saib Fadhel, Head of the Sports Activities Division, as supervisor, and Assistant Dr. Fadia Abdul-Hussein Kadhim as coach, with the participation of players from the College of Business Informatics students.
The university delegation received a shield of appreciation from the tournament’s organizing committee. This participation comes as part of the second semester curriculum for the academic year 2024-2025.
