In line with government efforts to increase green spaces and improve the environment, the Business Informatics College at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a tree-planting campaign.
This initiative coincided with the Baghdad Municipality’s launch of the capital’s largest tree-planting campaign, which involved planting thousands of trees, and the college’s Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with a number of University faculty and students, contributed to planting a number of trees and plants around the College’s external perimeter.
The college’s deanship emphasized that this campaign falls within the framework of its commitment to preserving the University environment and raising student awareness of the importance of afforestation and its role in improving climate and reducing pollution, and it also aims to add a more aesthetically pleasing and vibrant appearance to the facade of the University, the College, and the roads leading to them.
