The Continuous Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications held a training course titled “Occupational Health and Safety,” delivered by Omar Abdul Majeed, an Assist. at the Biomedical Informatics College.
The course aims to introduce participants to the concepts of occupational safety and methods for preventing risks in the workplace, in addition to promoting a culture of adherence to security and safety procedures to protect lives and property.
The course covered several topics, including risk management, first aid procedures, and safety requirements in laboratories and offices, emphasizing the importance of following safety guidelines as part of daily professional conduct.
