Assis. Prof. Dr. Ala’a Ahmed Abboud, Director of the Continuous Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications, supervised the progress of the teaching methods courses held by the center within the approved training program to develop academic competencies and raise the level of teaching performance in universities and institutes.
Dr. Ala’a inspected the training halls and reviewed the mechanism for delivering scientific lectures and the content of the approved curricula, in addition to monitoring the level of interaction and participation by the trainees, appreciating the efforts of the lecturers and the administrative staff in succeeding these courses.
The center’s director emphasized that teaching methods courses are a fundamental pillar in improving academic performance, due to their direct impact on developing lecture planning skills, delivery methods, classroom management, and the use of modern educational technologies.
Dr. Ala’a pointed out that the Continuous Education Center continues to implement its training programs according to rigorous scientific standards and in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the continuous endeavor to create quality courses that meet the needs of the teaching staff and keep pace with the rapid developments in university education.
