The Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Information Technology and Communications discussed a master’s thesis on early diagnosis of kidney cancer.
The thesis of the student (Dhuha Abdul-Ridha Kadhum) in the field of computer science was entitled: “Kidney Cancer Classification Using Crow Swarm Optimization Algorithm and Deep Q Learning Based on Large Medical Image “. This paper presents a hybrid model that uses feature extraction and swarm optimization to select the best features, reducing human errors that may occur during medical image analysis by experts in early disease diagnosis. At the end of the discussion by the head and members of the discussion committee, who gave their comments and guidance, the student obtained a master’s degree with distinction.
