The Student Activities Department at the University of Information Technology and Communications participated in the activities of the Al-Noor Quran Competition for Iraqi Universities, hosted by the University of Basrah.
The university delegation was headed by the Lecturer in Student Activities Department, Noufal Majid, and the Head of Student Activities Division at the College of Business Informatics, the Lecturer Hassanein Majid, with the participation of two students from the College of Business Informatics and the College of Biomedical Informatics.
The participation aims to identify the students’ capabilities in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran, in light of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s interest in supporting distinguished students in this field.
The University of Information Technology and Communications, with its participating delegation and students, received the active participation shield award.
