The Continuing Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications completed the second training course for 2025 for the University Leadership and Human Resources Development and Qualification Program (Financial Skills Focus). The course covered several topics related to the financial aspect of government institutions, such as the concept and guide of the unified accounting system, the stages and steps of preparing budgets and general allocations, internal auditing and control processes, inventory systems management, as well as financial management, analysis, and performance evaluation. This course is based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up, and is part of the implementation of the University Leadership Development and Qualification Project, according to a scientific plan developed for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, based on five themes. The second training course lasted five days and was attended by a number of department, division, and unit heads at the university and its colleges, who received academic training. It was presented by Assistant Professor Ibrahim Naeem, Assistant Professor Mustafa Walid, and Muhammad Shukor from the UOITC. The course concluded with the participants taking a test. Members of the supervising committee were keen to be present to gain a firsthand insight into the second development course for university leaders and human resources.
