For the fourth consecutive day, the University of Information Technology and Communications continued its activities for Iraqi Anti-Drug Week. The University’s Psychological Counseling Division, in cooperation with the Human Rights Division, organized an awareness exhibition on the scourge of drugs, their harms, and methods of prevention. The exhibition was held with the participation of the psychological counseling units from the Colleges of Engineering and Biomedical Informatics at the Mansour campus.

The exhibition, attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Jaafar Adhab Ankoud, and the Dean of Biomedical Informatics, Professor Dr. Intisar Shadeed Al-Majbali, included the distribution and display of a collection of posters and awareness brochures highlighting the dangers of drugs and their negative health and social effects. Informational brochures explaining prevention mechanisms and methods of protection were also distributed. The event also included a series of guidance and educational activities for students and staff, aimed at enhancing community awareness and establishing a culture of early prevention.

The event witnessed significant attendance and interaction from university students and staff, reflecting the academic institution’s commitment to supporting national efforts to combat this serious problem.
