The university’s Rehabilitation and Employment Division held its eighth annual Job and Software Fair, with the participation of government institutions, private companies, and banks, aiming to connect students with the labor market.

The university’s Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Professor Louay Adour George, emphasized that the exhibitions and training workshops organized by the university enhance the efficiency of graduates and prepare them to enter the labor market with advanced skills. He also noted that the university works to develop students’ skills and provide training programs that meet market needs.

For his part, Dr. Hussein Flamarz, Prime Minister Advisor and Supervisor of the “Riyada” Initiative, spoke about the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship, pointing to the experience of Sovereign Wealth Funds(SWF) in some developed countries. Additionally, explained that the initiative supports entrepreneurial ideas and provides loans to students and innovators.

For her part, Dr. Alaa Talal Yassin, Head of the Rehabilitation Division, emphasized the importance of communication between students and the business sector, while Dr. Mahdi Nassif Jassim, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, emphasized the university’s role in developing talent and meeting the demands of the labor market.

The exhibition witnessed wide participation from telecommunications, technology, financial, and industrial companies. Participants were honored and gifts were distributed to outstanding students.
