The University of Information Technology and Communications obtained membership in the United Nations in the field of academic impact.
The United Nations Academic Impact is one of the most important programs that aims to link and harmonize higher education institutions in the world with the United Nations program in order to achieve basic goals, including achieving sustainable peace, protecting human rights, providing the opportunity for education for all, sustainability, and conflict resolution.
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, praised the efforts of all University faculty members and employees in enhancing the University’s position at the global and academic levels, which reflects their commitment to improving education in the country, indicating that international classifications and membership in the United Nations play an important role in enhancing the University’s reputation in what serves the educational process in the country.
