The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a scientific seminar dedicated to discussing the mechanisms for reflecting the University’s performance to an advanced rank in global rankings.
At the seminar, Dr. Qusay Shehab Hamad, the head of the University’s Rankings Unit, addressed topics related to international ranking standards and methods of evaluating universities, in addition to the requirements for improving academic reputation, research citation rates, developing the educational environment, and strengthening international partnerships.
The symposium also reviewed the steps the University is taking to raise its global academic presence and the challenges facing educational institutions in achieving ranking standards, while emphasizing the importance of adopting sustainable improvement plans that support the University’s progress in global quality indicators.
