In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Information Technology and Communications has organized an awareness campaign to prevent suicide, and the campaign aims to raise awareness of the seriousness of this phenomenon and its negative effects on individuals and society.
The campaign included distributing educational leaflets and posting informational posters in the University’s halls and colleges to educate students about the psychological, social, and religious risks associated with suicide and ways to confront and overcome them.
The University emphasized that this initiative falls within its commitment to social responsibility and its efforts to provide a safe and supportive university environment for its students by promoting a culture of dialogue and communication, and confirming the importance of psychological and social support as effective means of reducing such cases.
