In response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and as part of the implementation of the National Strategy for Education and Training for May 2025, the Continuing Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a seminar on administrative and financial skills.

The seminar, which was presented by the Head of the Financial Auditing and Control Department, the Lecturer Mohammad Shakur Ahmed, the Head of the Payroll Division at the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, the Lecturer Ahmad Salim, and Lecturer Ayat Adnan from the Financial Auditing and Control Department, covered several topics. These included enhancing participants’ understanding of basic administrative and financial skills, developing their abilities to make effective decisions that support institutional growth and financial sustainability, especially in light of rapid economic and technological changes.

The seminar also focused on the mechanism of salary calculation and deductions, and aimed to raise awareness among university employees about how their monthly salary is calculated.
