Our university’s Student Activities Departmenti participated in the Scout Camp for Rover Leaders, both male and female, to study the Wooden Badge (Jungle Medal) for Rover Leaders and Guides at universities. The camp was hosted by Maysan University and several public and private universities, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Iraqi Scouts Association, and the Iraqi Scouts Council. The camp ran from April 11-15, 2025, with the participation of public universities and private colleges.
Our university delegation was represented by instructor Nofal Majid Muhi Shukr, Head of the Scout Activities Division in the Department. This scout camp aims to prepare leaders in this field, with the participation of 43 male and female candidates representing universities.
This activity, held under the slogan “Today’s Leaders, Authentic Values, Promising Future,” aims to instill national and humanitarian values in the souls of the Rover Leaders and develop the spirit of leadership and social responsibility among students, thus contributing to the creation of an effective generation in building the nation’s future.
