The Student Activities Department at the University of Information Technology and Communications achieved first place in the university scouting camp for scouts and guides, hosted by the Northern Technical University in Nineveh Governorate.
The camp, held under the slogan “No to Extremism, Yes to Peaceful Coexistence,” was organized by the Student Activities Department at the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with participation from several public and private universities and a significant turnout from various universities.
Our university’s delegation, led by Assistant Lecturer Noufal Majid Muhi, head of the scouting activities section, excelled in providing scouting supplies, high organization, and outstanding execution of camp activities, as well as maintaining student discipline throughout the duration of the camp from April 16 to April 24, 2025. Additionally, several students from the College of Business Informatics participated in the camp.
This participation is part of the curriculum for the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025. Moreover, these activities contribute to achieving several sustainable development goals, including Goal 4 related to quality education and Goal 17 related to partnerships for the goals.
