Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, received a delegation from the Karbala Research Center affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, to discuss ways for the university to participate in the annual Al-Arbaeen International Conference.

The delegation included Professor Dr. Nazir Jabbar Al-Hindawi, Assistant Director of the Karbala Research Center, and Mr. Hassan Al-Husseini from the media of the Imam Hussein Shrine, where they submitted an official invitation to the university to contribute to the activities of the conference scheduled to be held in August of next year, two days after the day of Arbaeen .

The delegation stressed that the University of Information Technology and Communications has an active role and a distinctive mark in the conference, especially in light of the scientific orientation of the topics presented this year.
For his part, Dr. Al-Bakri expressed the university’s readiness to participate as a key partner in technological, programming, and artificial intelligence applications.

The delegation also stressed the importance of the contribution of university faculty members to the arbitration and scientific evaluation of the participating research, given their academic experience, which contributes to the success of the conference.
