Professor Louay Edwar George, the University’s Assistant President for Academic Affairs, received a delegation from the High Commission for Human Rights.
The two sides discussed ways to cooperate and promote a culture of human rights within the university environment, as well as the importance of raising awareness of academic rights and freedoms and ensuring a safe educational environment that respects human dignity.
The two sides reviewed the most prominent challenges facing students and faculty in this area and ways to address them. The attendees also emphasized the importance of continuing communication and activating joint programs to disseminate human rights concepts within the university environment. George, the University’s Assistant President for Academic Affairs, received a delegation from the High Commission for Human Rights.
