The President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bakri, participated in the first day of the Quranic Council, which is held under the slogan “The Month of Ramadan, the Spring of the Quran”, in the presence of a number of university students, which was sponsored by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and is held at the University of Baghdad. Dr. Al-Bakri stressed the importance of holding such Quranic forums in Iraqi universities, pointing to their role in enhancing spiritual and moral values ​​among students and developing a sense of belonging to the Islamic identity. He also appreciated the efforts of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, in supporting such events that contribute to spreading and enhancing Quranic culture among young people. This Quranic Council comes within the framework of the activities of the holy month of Ramadan, which is considered an opportunity to enhance communication between students and the Holy Quran, and encourage them to adhere to its teachings and lofty values.
