Continuing Education’s Centre at the University of Information Technology & Communications (UoITC) completed the first training course for the two projects of developing and qualifying university leaders and human resources which was initiated with administrative skills.
This training course is based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up.
The course comes to implement the project of developing and qualifying university leaders according to a scientific plan developed for the years (2023, 2024, 2025) and according to five axes.
This course was held at the university headquarter in Karrada and in the main hall in Mansour. It was attended by a number of department, division, and unit of officials at the university, its three colleges, and centers, who received scientific training by qualified professors from the university.
The course was presented by
Dr Ban Qassim, Dr. Maha Fadhil and Dr. Alaa Talal. It covered topics of strategic planning, organization and control, organizational structures, job descriptions, administrative correspondence, managing meetings, preparing a feasibility study, and re-engineering administrative processes. The course concluded with a test for the participants, where the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, the official of the Central Committee, Dr. Haidar Hassan Mshali, and the members of the supervising committee were keen to be present to verify the procedures of the first development course for university leaders and human resources for this year.
