The Continuous Education Center, in collaboration with the College of Business Informatics, organized a specialized seminar titled “Developing Managerial and Financial Skills.” This event is part of the implementation of the National Education Strategy programs for October 2025, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of staff working in university institutions.
The seminar, presented by instructors assist. Lec. Iman Ghazal and assist. Lec. Mohammed Hussein Jassim, included a detailed presentation on the mechanisms for establishing the Higher Education Fund and its role in supporting the academic and research processes within universities. Additionally, it discussed the foundations for developing financial policies and administrative controls to ensure effective resource management and enhance transparency.
The seminar also compared the unified accounting system with the decentralized governmental accounting system in terms of procedures, control mechanisms, and distribution of authorities, highlighting how to utilize these systems to improve financial and administrative performance and raise operational efficiency indicators in the higher education sector.
