The Continuous Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a seminar on transparency and raising awareness of the culture of integrity. The seminar, presented by Dr. Ali Mohammed Bohan from the Legal Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, addressed the definition of transparency and what it represents as a strong stabilizing factor for the state.
The seminar highlighted the causes of corruption and its various forms in terms of scale, prevalence, and appearance, as well as methods to combat it in Iraq through the Integrity Commission and relevant departments and institutions.
For his part, Dr. Haidar Hassan Mashali, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, who attended the seminar along with a group of university employees, emphasized the necessity of holding such seminars, which are among the initiatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in light of the implementation of the national strategy for education.
