The President of the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC), Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, held a coordination meeting with representatives from Al-Zahraa University for Women and Al-Mustaqbal University, as part of the ongoing preparations for the conference titled “New Trends in Information and Communications Technology Applications (NTICT)”, scheduled to be held on December 17–18 at Al-Zahraa University in the holy city of Karbala.

The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Zuheir Mohammed Ali Jidoua, Assistant President of Al-Zahraa University for Women for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University.

During the meeting, participants discussed the organizational and scientific aspects of the conference, as well as mechanisms of joint cooperation among the three universities to ensure the success of the event and the achievement of its academic objectives. The discussions also covered the research themes and accompanying activities of the conference, with an emphasis on the importance of integrating academic efforts to advance applications of information and communications technology and to keep pace with modern global trends in this vital field.
