A delegation from the College of Business Informatics at the University of Information Technology and Communications visited the Scientific Research Authority, as part of the college’s efforts to expand horizons of scientific, academic and applied cooperation with specialized research institutions.
The delegation was headed by Dr. Hassanein Al-Taie, accompanied by lecturer Nairi Abdullah and a number of creative students. During the visit, they were briefed on robotics laboratories and the data center, in addition to learning about the latest technologies adopted in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. The tour also included a review of advanced applications in industrial automation, cloud computing, data analysis, and information security.
This visit comes as part of the university and college’s efforts to enhance integration between theory and practice, and prepare students for the labor market by providing practical training opportunities and participating in joint research projects, which contributes to supporting innovation and digital transformation paths and building sustainable strategic partnerships.
This step is consistent with the vision of the College of Business Informatics to prepare qualified and specialized cadres in modern digital technologies, especially in the fields of information systems analysis, big data, smart solutions, and digital infrastructure security, in a way that meets the requirements of technological development and progress.
