The University of Information Technology and Communications received a specialized ministerial committee that conducted a field visit to review the requirements for establishing several new departments and colleges at the university. This visit is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s procedures for creating new academic units.

The visit aimed to verify that the university meets the material and human resource requirements according to the approved regulations and conditions for establishment. The committee toured the university’s facilities, including the College of Business Informatics, to examine the infrastructure and available scientific resources.

The committee was received by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Hassan Mashali, and the Dean of the College of Business Informatics, Dr. Nagham Hamed Abdul-Mahdi. They provided an overview of the available academic and administrative resources and the plans aimed at developing the educational environment and introducing specializations that meet the demands of the labor market and the digital transformation.

The university affirmed its commitment to fulfilling all the requirements for establishment in accordance with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directives to develop academic programs and expand opportunities for quality education.
