On the occasion of the new academic year 2026–2027, the University of Information Technology and Communications, Department of Dormitory Affairs, announces the opening of registration for male students from Iraqi provinces who wish to reside in the dormitories. The department invites the eligible students to complete the required documents and procedures.
Required Documents for Housing Application:
1. A certificate from the academic department including a photo of the student, addressed to (University of Information Technology and Communications / Department of Dormitory Affairs), stating the province, academic stage, scientific department, student result (pass or fail), type of study (morning or evening / undergraduate or graduate), and type of acceptance (private expenses, public expenses, or central acceptance), with the date of the certificate being after 1/9/2026.
2. A certificate from the guarantor’s department, addressed to (University of Information Technology and Communications / Department of Dormitory Affairs), including the name of the employee, place of work, and confirmation of their continued service, for the purpose of guaranteeing the student by mentioning their full name, accompanied by the guarantor’s ID or civil status ID.
3. A copy of the national ID or civil status ID and residence card of the student.
4. A recent housing certificate for the current year, certified by the municipal council, including a photo of the student and addressed to (University of Information Technology and Communications / Department of Dormitory Affairs).
5. Three recent personal photos.
6. A copy of the COVID-19 vaccination card.
7. Submission via the “Ur” portal, along with a copy of the barcode in the student’s name containing all attached information.
8. Payment of dormitory fees as determined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, amounting to (30,000) thirty thousand dinars, in addition to (5,000) five thousand dinars for the dormitory ID fee, along with bringing the original payment receipt and a copy.
Important Notes:
• All documents mentioned above must be color photocopies.
• If a student fails in the academic year due to failing or expulsion or for any other reason, dormitory fees will double, except for postponements due to health reasons or emergencies as determined by the university president.
• Students ranked first in their departments (number 1 only) are exempt from dormitory fees.
The Department of Dormitory Affairs invites eligible students to complete the registration requirements and required documents to ensure the processing of housing applications for the new academic year 2026–2027.
