part of the distinguished scientific contributions of Iraqi academic staff, Dr. Munira Abed Hamdi, a faculty member at the College of Biomedical Informatics, University of Information Technology and Communications (UOITC), participated in the 11th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies (ICICT 2026), held in London, United Kingdom.Participating via an electronic platform, Dr. Hamdi presented her research paper titled:”A Quality-Invariant Deep Learning Framework for Degraded Crime Scene Fingerprint Forensic Matching Under Adverse Conditions.”The study focuses on developing an advanced model utilizing deep learning techniques to process degraded forensic fingerprints, ensuring accurate matching despite the challenges of low image quality.Her participation received high acclaim from the organizing committee, and she was awarded a certificate of appreciation for her scientific contribution.
